Sure, our little one isn't due for another 2 weeks, but at our last appointment, Dr. Beck said that she already weighs almost 7 1/2 lbs. Are you kidding!?! If we keep this up, she's going to be a 10 pounder!! Anyway, I wish I had a more exciting update, but we're still just playing the waiting game!

My only consolation for you is that I don't think it's usually very accurate when they guess the weight before it's born...
ReplyDeleteMy only labor-inducing tip is, um, you know... :)
That is really frustrating!! If it helps, they guessed my baby was about 7lbs 3oz about 1-2 weeks before she was born and she was only 7lbs 2oz when she came out. As for labor inducing, I hate to say it but I don't think anything really works if she's not ready besides getting the Dr to strip your membranes or breaking your water. However, I was told to jump on a trampoline (some strongly disagree), walking stairs a lot, curb walking, the obvious;), taking black cohosh pills, and... I think that's all I can think of for now. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHaha I have to tell you I tried EVERYTHING (except the castor oil eww) I walked and walked and WALKED to only give myself intense Braxton Hicks Contractions lol. Kaydence came two weeks early but that was when I had stopped trying haha. I need to email you and talk to you a little more in depth about signs but not on here haha. Good luck and may she come early!
ReplyDeleteYou're hilarious, Tarryn. OK - I'll give you my two cents, too. Jack came two weeks early and I know it's because I did the stairs the night before. We had stairs in our apartment, and TY made me walk up and down them 10 times. After that, the contractions never stopped.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I definitely remember that feeling of just being done with pregnancy!!
From one who went nine days over-- try some bowling, and what Lindsay suggested... hehe... Hopefully she comes soon. Waiting is no fun girlie! Send me your address k. I miss you!
