Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara was beautiful. It was so nice to get out of the heat and enjoy some time together. Our schedules have been so crazy busy lately-- it was a much needed vacation!
It was great to have Tess & Brad come too. Bryn & Brody LOVE them!...and we do too :)

We headed over to Kid's World... probably one of the coolest public parks I've ever been to. It was huge! Bryn wanted to go play, so I followed her up to one of the slides. She took one look at me, then (in her sweetest voice), she yelled over to Uncle Brad, "Bad-- Come up here with me!" Yup. Mom is no fun and she's got Uncle Brad around her finger!

Across the street they had a pond with tons of turtles, fish & ducks. Bryn was in heaven!

P.S. I wish things like this grew in Arizona...

McCormick's Lately

Brynlee:
Is fully potty trained. Aside from a few not-so-pretty accidents, she's done really well and takes pride in flushing the toilet and getting a treat.
She's talking like crazy. She'll talk to anyone and everyone... especially on the phone. She talks to Brody non stop, but often treats him like a dog. ("Come here Brody, come here.")
Bryn is also growing increasingly independent and wants to do everything on her own. In her words, "my do it". She also loves to help me around the house and exclaims, "my helping!"
Her favorite two things in the entire world are books and songs. Her current favorite songs are "Reetzy, Reetzy Pider" (Eency, Weency Spider) and "Wheels on the Bus", but any song will do. She just likes to sing. And read. I love it!

Brody:
Is crawling like a mad man and has been now for almost 2 months. He wants to be wherever Brynlee is and thinks he's as big as she is. He pulls himself up on everything and every once in a while he'll let go and try to stand on his own. He's quite the little dare devil. Brody has his two bottom teeth and will bite you if you don't hold him a safe distance from your arm. He says "dada" and is starting to wave and clap his hands. He's so smiley and happy about 90% of the day. The other 10%... well... it's not so pleasant. Let's just say he's got some of his dad's spitfire in him!

Riley:
Is excited to be done with school for the semester. He's busy working and getting ready for some fun trips we have planned this summer.

Tarryn:
Is rather boring. Just starting my last session of swimming lessons and wrapping up this season of synchro. I love being a mom and wife and can't wait until swim & synchro are over so I can just enjoy being with my kiddos all day long!

And... no post is complete without pictures. Here are a few that have nothing to do with anything, other than just being fun.

First, CONGRATULATIONS to our three favorite graduates: Trevor, Tess, & Trent!

Yup... it's already started!

No worries... it's just a red vine. Yum!
