It's a..................

BOY!! Hooray! I went to the doctor on Wednesday and didn't expect to have an ultrasound. But luckily, we were able to find out that we're having a little BOY! We are so excited. He's measuring a little bigger than expected, so my new due date has been moved up to September 17th.

Hawaii

We recently returned home from beautiful Ko Olina in Hawaii! We had so much fun watching Brynlee discover sand (and eat loads of it) while spending time with family.

I could really get used to waking up to this every morning!

Unfortunately, Riley didn't feel the need for sunscreen and BBQd his body on the first day

(he should really start listening to me).

Brynlee was in heaven! She LOVES the water. If she wasn't in the ocean, she was in the pool or the bath... what more does a baby want?

This is Bryn's new buddy, Lisa. She was the best waitress ever! Lisa even bought Bryn an Easter gift!

9 Months Old

I just took Bryn to the doctor the other day and on my way out I made her ONE YEAR appointment! I can't believe my baby is going to be a year old in less than 3 months! Yikes!

Here are her stats:

Height: 30 1/4 inches (>97%)

Weight: 21 1/2 lbs. (90%)

Head: 17 1/2 inches (60%)

Brynlee has been surprising us every day with new things she learns or figures out. Some of her biggest accomplishments include:

says "mama" and "dada" all day long (not to anyone specific)

can climb the stairs (yup, got to the 4th step the other day before I caught her)

walks around holding the furniture

waves to anyone and everyone (a little delayed, but she waves)

crawls like crazy! When did she get to be so fast?

shakes her head "no"

gets into EVERYTHING and finds herself in tough-to-get-out-of places.

But the thing she's best at is making messes...
